Well my name is Julia, I am in Sicily on a 6 month work placement with Addiopizzo, an anti-mafia organisation. I have just finished my MA in Terrorism, International Crime and Global Security and hope to start a phd when I return to the UK in September 2012.
I have started this blog as a diary, so in years to come I can relive every small moment that at the time I thought was important! Especially as I have never travelled or spent longer than 2 weeks out of the country before! Typically this often involves what food I have eaten and how I spend my life, but also offers some insight into working for Addiopizzo and various cultural differences I have encountered.
